This goblet is a little over five inches high, is flexible at the rim and to me appears to be a solid silver alloy. The mark is not known to me and I do not know any country that used .905 as their standard. It met the “less than the price of a sandwich rule” and although it was almost black when I brought the goblet it was clear that the hammered look was very attractive. Any ideas as to what U.S.R. stands far or who made .905 silver. IP: Logged |

Hello! Can't say if this will help but I located a set of hammered goblets marked .905. They were listed in an auction house catalogue as sterling .905 fine 2010. The mark sans the USR looked identical to your mark. Jersey IP: Logged |

Thanks Jersey. It could be whoever marked it thought .905 was the sterling mark. IP: Logged |
