Okay I know AGAIN! Here are two Mexican silver Makers I am trying to figure out...One has the Mark metalles casados plus the Maker Info Any Ideas what that means. ..Also a mexican set that has the Mark Broche and what looks like the Last letters of Alpaca But I thought that alpaca was Not Silver because the Pin is also marked 925 and One earring is marked Sterling and Taxco. Could anyone Explain? Thank you Roger IP: Logged |

Spanish is not my first language however METALES translates into metals and CASADOS translates into married. I would say then that Metales Casados would be what we refer to as Mixed Metals George ------------------ IP: Logged |

Metales Casados is spanish for married metals and the Broche Alpaca perhaps indicates that the pin back may be made of this nickle copper alloy known as Alpaca... Hope this helps IP: Logged |
