I am doing research in preparation for an exhibit on the Aurora Silver Plate Manufacturing Company (1869 - 1919) that is scheduled to open in 2003. We have a large collection of pieces, much of which was recently a private collection. Sadly, there is little or no documentation or provenance. In our archive is a photocopy of a sales catalog that I believe dates c. 1900, but it would be most helpful if we could locate other catalogs to aid the research. Does anyone have suggestions for possible sources? Dennis Buck IP: Logged |
