I have just obtained a pot that might be used for coffee, tea or even alcohol? There is a hallmark of a brick castle with turrets shaped a bit like a crown shape, stamped above the name Crown Windsor EPNS; underneath is stamped with A1/Al/AL and number 3029 with H stamped and no 18 stamped below. I have not had any success in locating the Crown Windsor nor a copy of the hallmarks. I am not sure of the interpretation of what I see and the pot is very heavy. I would appreciate any info that people might offer to help to identify the piece and its age. with thanks Lori IP: Logged |

Welcome to the Silver Salon Forums. Everyone would appreciate it if you would register (click here). It would also help if you would post (or e-mail me) a closeup photo of the marks (and item). Based on your description of the marks (they are not hallmarks) what you have is silver plate. IP: Logged |
