Hello. This is my first post and I'm so happy that the research department at Replacements told me about your site. My mother was a collector of many things, flatware among them. I blame her for my many obsessions.  Currently, I'm trying to find out any information available on a flatware manufacturer that produced items stamped "Cataract Silver" or "Cataract Plate Co". I've learned that "Cataract" was/is a nickname for the Niagara Falls region, so there's a potential that the company was located in that vicinity. I've seen a few listings of their items however none match the pattern I have inherited from my Mom. Ultimately I'd like to identify the pattern but at this point, I can't find ANYTHING about the company. Thanks for any information, clues or resources you can provide.
