I picked up this pretty silver basket at Goodwill last week. The marks on it are a cross (or is that a star?) a crown and a shield. the basket has a floral motif with a braided handle.Any info you could help me with would be appreciated! IP: Logged |

Hello, it's helpful if you could say a bit about why you want to identify this. Only because the forum does not get involved with business, it's too overwhelming for the volunteers answering questions if it's about silver - not silver instead of about the history. Also it's extreamly difficult to identify marks without images. A cross crown and shield are used by a dozen countries over 4-5 hundred years! Tell us your interest and post an image of the marks and I'm sure it can be identified. [This message has been edited by agleopar (edited 10-28-2018).] IP: Logged |
