This is a Rosenthal (maker) pattern that I cannot identify. The knives of the set were stolen in a burglary and I am trying to replace them, but don't know the pattern. The mark is Rosenthal Germany. jerry

You might get more information if you can get a copy of the following book: ROSENTHAL, EXCELLENCE FOR ALL TIMES: DINNERWARE, ACCESSORIES, CUTLERY, GLASS, Kerr, Ann, hard cover, new, 450 color, 10 b/w illus., 8.5x11 ", 204 pg., "detailed study of the history & works of Rosenthal presented in relation to the evolution of Modernism in Europe & America", "photos, many from company archives, demonstrate examples of Rosenthal porcelain dinnerware, silver cutlery, glassware, accessories, figurines, and limited edition art, and biographies introduce artists who design for Rosenthal" Additionally you might try contacting:
Rosenthal USA, Ltd.

FYI: I have found out the pattern name from Carla Zarse at Replacements Ltd. She wrote: "The name of the pattern is Romance and is made in both silverplate and sterling." Jerry Ballew IP: Logged |
