I can't make out the central mark, but the four letters which flank it are EPNS - electro-plated nickel silver. IP: Logged |

Your marks are those of a Sheffield, England manufacturer of silverplated items - They use various different lettering of the EP NS in order to help them keep some sort of stock control. The firm is known as ROBERTS and registered a normal EP NS in simple square from 1916-20 and the same without any shield 1920-23- I would GUESS that your (Gothic) EP NS are the marks immediately after 1923 - but by now I am sure you get the idea!
