[01-1950]

I just inherited a large stuffing spoon with a mark of six arrows..two groups of three each crossed at right angles. The makers mark is WH & S AN OLD ENGLISH B and P followed by an A1 ALL IN SEPARATE STAMPS.

I would appreciate any info so that I can trace it.

THANK YOU.

Is there any chance the "B" is an "E"? With "EP" and "A1", it sounds like electroplate.

The six arrow mark relates to Wm. Hutton & Sons, Ltd. of Sheffield, England. - from 1800 to 1922 - made silver and silver plated tableware

WGS posted in the General Silver Forum in 2004 a question about 6 crossed arrows and Wm H & S. I hope it is 4x4 arrows.

Please move this post to that thread, if desirable. I tried to post there but am prohibited.

Wm. Hutton and Sons purchased the Crestwick Silver Manufacturing firm in 1900. From 1900 to 1910 Wm. Hutton and Sons put the Crestwick mark on their silver products; followed by their mark. Crestwick mark:

and the resulting mark is:
