"This is a page from the Daniel Low & Co. 1901 catalog. Daniel Low was a Salem, MA gold and silversmith and retailer. Many of the buckles illustrated on this page from the catalog were made by Kerr and Unger. For example, the two-piece buckle in the very center is of two dragonflies with folded wings and was made by Kerr. However, the catalog does not identify the buckles by their makers. So how do we know? "
