Birks Regency Plate Ring Boxes

"The first is the plain top and the second is the lion rampant. Both are marked Birks Regency Silver Plate. In 1979, due to a dramatic increase in the price of silver, the Sterling Silver bell replaced with Regency Silver plate. However, the sterling boxes made a brief appearance as a special presentation box for the new Limited Edition ring celebration . The lion rampant decorates the lids presently. All others were early 80's. "
