| Tiffany's great Lap Over Edge pattern showcased an amazing variety of insects. Several stunning examples appear in "Tiffany Silver Flatware: When Dining Was an Art". The examples I show here are in the acid-etched variation of the pattern, and include a teaspoon and butter knife. The teaspoon depicts a grasshopper and another winged insect. The butter knife's handle is acid-etched with a foliate design, while its blade is engraved with a pair of ants.
