I bought my third card case to celebrate when my first (and so far only) novel was published; the narrator is named Julia. This case is made of coin silver and has the pre-1871 Wood & Hughes mark. I loved the combination of engine-turned engraving a different pattern on each side with the bright-cut flowers on one side and the cartouche with Julia's name on the other.

Once I owned three card cases I had to admit I was collecting them.
