Crane with enamel and pave.
Des. Patent 133,742 obtained on Sept. 8, 1942.

CoroCraft did something in the making of many of their pins that I have not found on any other maker's sterling jewelry - they cut out that portion of the sterling that would be under each pave set rhinestone. It has been reported that they did this to make the pins lighter in weight. Since the rhinestones used were foil-backed, it cannot have been done to allow light to show through, so the reported rationale makes sense, and gives their pieces a unique look. The backs of two of the pieces are shown to illustrate this: the crane and the dimensional gold bow pin.
