Excellent condition.

It is unusual to find a complete snuff box with the original spoon especially one that is this old and in excellent condition. The spoon and inner compartments are gold vermeil. The maker’s mark is for Silbermanufaktur Alexander Sturm and is on all 3 three parts of the box along side the Austro-Hungarian hallmark (the six sided cartouche of Diana head) which is also on the spoon (see photos). This hallmark was used only between 1867-1922 and indicates the snuff box & spoon are 900/1000 silver. The city code is for Vienna.
