In The Guide to Evaluating Gold & Silver Objects, on page 61 there is a conversion table which shows you how to convert from/to grains, grams, kilogram, ounces avoirdupois, troy ounces, pounds avoirdupois and pennyweights. As per The Guide: To convert Troy Ounces to Ounces Avoirdupois multiply by 1.09714 Additionally on the SMP home page, in the Tools & Tips section there is an online converter which will automatically convert from/to ounces avoirdupois, ounces troy, grains, grams and pennyweight (dwt.). http://www.smpub.com For more info on The Guide to Evaluating Gold & Silver Objects see: http://www.smpub.com/theguide/theguide.html IP: Logged |
