I have been working with various commercial and self-created databases for cataloging my collection of silver, with only mild satisfaction. I recently came across "Collector's Organizer Deluxe." and can say it is worth a serious look from anyone who wishes to put their silver house in order. It has a pleasant interface, very flexible information formatting, and handles both external and internal picture storage very nicely. It can accept existing databases in Access, FoxPro, and rich text format (it took my 1400 Access entrees without a blink). The tech support is very good and quick to respond. The price is quite reasonable and a tryout version can be downloaded at www.primasoft.com. I add as a disclaimer that I have nothing at all to do with PrimaSoft nor have any monetary interest in the company. It's just a darn nice program. IP: Logged |
