The art medallion shown here is by Daniel-Dupuis and entitled "Le Source". It is not hallmarked, though it certainly appears to be solid silver. Perhaps not of a high enough quality to require a 'guarantee' mark? or somehow exempt from marking?

Jean-Baptiste Daniel Dupuis (1849-1899) is mentioned in Mark Jones "The Art of the Medal", British Museum Publication, 1979. ISBN 0 7141 0850 10.
"The Spring" is illustrated - if that's helpful.
