Hi, I've come across a number of sterling holloware pieces with this mark, always on designs that are very Jensenesque, if not outright copies. The quality is always fairly good. Does anyone know who it is? I did see one for sale that called it Hecker sterling. The only Hecker I could find was Jacob S. Hecker Co. of Philly which became part of Hartford Sterling at a date that eliminates them as a possibility. Thanks IP: Logged |

WEV had a question about the same mark a while ago. Maybe WEV will share his thoughts again? I can honestly say I have never seen the mark on an actual piece, so I am afraid I can't help right now. On the eBay piece, did it say Hecker, or was it just something the seller seemed to know? Brent IP: Logged |

Do the Druckers have any idea who this mark might belong to? IP: Logged |

I am truly surprised that the Druckers have no opinion at all on this mark. All of us silver people have happened upon nice quality Jensen-like sterling holloware with this mark many times. This is not a rare mark at all, just unknown to the rest of us. This mark reminds me of a crude version of Johan Rohde's cypher. IP: Logged |
