In both Reed & Barton and Watson literature, many of the popular patterns prior to 1910 list an Oatmeal Spoon in their catalogs. Is this a serving piece or was it smaller? Also, any photos of an example would be most appreciated. I am also looking for info for

Maybe I can explain this to you. In Italy we use "cucchiaio pappa" which means baby cereal spoon. "pappa" in English, I think means oatmeal. So maybe it is this. It is spoon that mommy uses to feed baby with handle at 90 degrees angle. I send you picture if it pleases you via email. I do not know to put picture on internet. I am sorry.
