[01-2281] I've had this piece for awhile. It looks to be hand made and the interior is a little rough. It measures about 3 1/2" high and 3" in diameter and the mark on the bottom is DAC. Also there is a scribe center mark on the top lid and the bottom. (This can be seen next to the DAC mark.) Any thoughts would be appreciated. IP: Logged |

Does the piece look as though it ever had a lining in the body and/or the lid ? I assume the lid is a push fit rather than being hinged ? IP: Logged |

I was aquainted once with a silversmith who said that the center punch mark on a piece of hollowware was indication that the piece had been hand raised. Don't know if that's true. IP: Logged |
