[01-2281] I've had this piece for awhile. It looks to be hand made and the interior is a little rough. It measures about 3 1/2" high and 3" in diameter and the mark on the bottom is DAC. Also there is a scribe center mark on the top lid and the bottom. (This can be seen next to the DAC mark.) Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Does the piece look as though it ever had a lining in the body and/or the lid ? I assume the lid is a push fit rather than being hinged ? IP: Logged |

I was aquainted once with a silversmith who said that the center punch mark on a piece of hollowware was indication that the piece had been hand raised. Don't know if that's true. IP: Logged |
