[01-2332] Hi folks, I have another neat little box, this time probably dutch c. 1890 with some markings that I have not a clue about. This silver box is 3" long (closed) and has a large compartment on the top and a very small compartment on the bottom. there are none of the quality marks I like to see anywhere, but there are marks on the small bottom lid which elude me. The markings on the outside include 3 large letters, and underneath a pin pricked date of 1781 (see photo). The marks on the inside of this lid look like "TCL" in a cartouche. The grunge around it is old silver polish that I have not cleaned off yet. This piece came from the same estate as the oriental piece I requested help on. Any help would be appreciated. Respectfully, Marc Cutcher
