[01-2629] Ended Monday on that big auction site (with no bids) a piece that might be puzzling if it turned up without the packaging:

My Mom has this item (sans box) in her salt spoon collection, fairly easy to track it down even without the box, marked on the back: STERLING PAT.DES. 100,700 (the catalog I keep of her pieces notes it as the patent number being incorrect). I'd run across it years ago (before I was on the internet) in a book on compacts. *makes note to double-check mismarking on the actual piece* ~Cheryl IP: Logged |
