Just a short note to tell you of a recent experience. A customer with our Durham pattern recently sent the pieces to us for refinishing. She had taken them to someone near her who claimed to be able to refinish silver and that person had used what must have been an industrial strength wire brush to "refinish" the pieces. The customer got them back looking like the finish on a stainless steel kitchen appliance. Dan, our finisher, was able to put them right, but some detail had been lost through all that treatment. middletom IP: Logged |
