vathek Posts: 966 Registered: Jun 99	posted 07-03-2010 11:22 AM As an fyi there is a resale shop near me that got a pair of ONC platters about 18" at 28 oz avoir each. They were priced above scrap but there are some scrappers who make the rounds and come through there about once a month. The items are reduced 10% a month and they keep an eye on the date of the reductions and recently bought a set of 6 Webster or International sterling goblets once the price went below scrap. They were there right as the store opened. I know they have their eyes on these platters. Hate to see them get scrapped. IP: Logged

I asked one of the employees who has spoken with the scrappers what they said they do with what they buy and they told her they are only interested in scrapping stuff.
