That is a good guess as the prongs are inserted into something and are spring loaded so as not to fall out. The items my wife collects serve a different purpose than holding a bottle tag. Hint: The connection between the prongs and the object that they are connected to allow the object to freely rotate. [This message has been edited by ahwt (edited 09-17-2012).] IP: Logged |

Exactly right Cheryl, As you can see below the flexible legs are attached to a tea leaf strainer. The legs are simply inserted into the spout of a teapot and when the tea is poured the tea strainer rotates to catch a loose tea leaves.
