Scott Martin Forum Master Posts: 11520 Registered: Apr 93	posted 03-29-2014 12:38 PM This is a separate thread which may help to suggest some ways to force a different route to the SSF to mitigate the problem mentioned in '500' ERRORS No particular order... Just wait until your ISP or the Internet selects a new route to the SSF. Try using an online anonymizer; the route they use could be bypassing the bad node. For example: free Online Anonymizer. There are others, suggestions welcomed. Turn off your ISP's interface device, modem, DSL modem, etc. until you are dynamically assigned a new IP address (1 min to a few hours). Sometimes a new IP assignment will create a new route to the SSF. (The added benefit of having a new IP assignment is that it will temporarily slow down and confuse the Internet trackers that are spying on you.) In addition to the above, Turn off your router at the same time. Select a new DNS server. We generally use openDNS (208.67.220.220 208.67.222.222) even so, we occasionally see the '500' error problem. You can use a tool like Domain Name Speed Benchmark to identify another DNS server. Changing the DNS can sometimes force a new route. As we hear additional suggestions they will be added to the above. IP: Logged
