Help!! I have these beautiful sterling spoons with amazing handles with 1901 and "Gertrude" cut out of the handle! The bowls are also engraved with Gertrude as well. Any help on makers mark and history of the maker and spoons would be greatly appreciated!

The bottom Arkansas souvenir spoon is by Watson & Newell Co.

The other spoon's base pattern looks like it might be the Silver plate pattern seville.

Silver plate patterns are sometimes found made in sterling.

A better closeup of the mark would be helpful.

Most often when I see a poorly stuck mark it often turns out to be the Simpson, Hall & Miller or the J.B. & S.M. Knowles mark.

This might help:

Thanks, Scott! Are the pictures you added of the mark in my picture but brightened and moved to seenit at different angles! If so, thank you! I'm still having a hard time making it out but you are most likely correct about the silver pattern! Your help is greatly appreciated and I will try again to get a better closeup!

The base design of the cut out ones also resembles Cambridge by International, but the reverse of that pattern is beaded as well, which is not the case in the mark photo.

Here's my other query... Would one commission these spoons to be designed this way, or is this something a silversmith offered? I'm so intrigued with these spoons since a date is cut out on 3 handles and then her name on another! Thank you Scott for helping me with the mark pics! Thanks @taloncrest for your info on pattern suggestions! I'll continue to search!

From what I have seen most shops that sold souvenir spoons either had their own engraver or had access to a jeweler who had an engraver to do this kind of engraving on souvenir spoons. The cut outs in the handles would not be at all difficult for an experienced engraver who could do this sort of enhancement with a drill and jeweler's saw.
