I preordered and just received my copy of Collecting Inspiration Edward C Moore at Tiffany & Co! The book, edited by Medill Higgins Harvey and published by the Met was to have accompanied an exhibition of Moore's collections and the Tiffany silver pieces they inspired. The exhibition was derailed by Covid but the Met proceeded with the catalogue. The book is a beautifully illustrated, carefully researched volume on Moore's career and influences and the bequest of his collections to the Met. Love the book and hope the exhibit occurs eventually! IP: Logged |
