At first this piece looks like a regular tea or coffee spoon... But it is actually a tiny replica, with a loop for use as a charm. It is silverplate, and was made by C. Rogers & Bro. in their 1897 Royal pattern. It is only 1-3/4" long including the loop, yet it is very well detailed (the bowl even has a matte finish).
Perhaps this charm was a giveaway intended to promote the pattern when it first came out? IP: Logged |
