Hello...I have a Mark that is puzzling me I thought at first French but maybe Austria....it has a 930/1000 for the silver content. A Raised outline of a Bat maybe the Maker? Plus 2 hallmarks a Profile of a Head facing left..wearing a Laurel Wreath...and a square with the letter A inside. Thank you for all your help Roger IP: Logged |

What type of piece is the mark on? Maybe seeing the piece will give us a clue to style or date. IP: Logged |

Based on a review of Tardy, my first guess is that your marks are Austrian, and date to between 1866 and 1872. If I am right, the A would be an import mark, and your piece would have been made elsewhere. A picture of the piece might help us determine the country of origin. Brent IP: Logged |
