Can anyone identify the following mark KAB925 the 'B' could also be an '8'. The ring is very light weight and is set with a large square cut stone which looks like it might be amethyst. Thanks IP: Logged |

I can't identify the mark. "KAB" would be the initials of the maker. It sounds to be of fairly recent vintage, and possibly European. There are so many makers of this kind of silver jewelry that it's probably near impossible to track down the maker. The 925 refers to sterling standard silver. Sorry not to be of more help. KAB is Kabana of Albuquerque, NM, and would be of recent vintage. They do lovely silver pieces as well as gold and semi-precious stones. If the item is light weight, it might from a line produced for QVC. IP: Logged |
