I just inherited a bracelet and I am unsure about it's origins. Because my grandmother passed away before I could ask her, I'm turning to you for help. It has three marks. The first is a curved sterling with 925 under it. I know what that means. The second is hecho en mexico... I know what that one is too. The third one has me stumped. It looks like a fancy scripted B with words circling it. All that I can make out of the words around it is a portion that says taxco. Can anyone help me? Thank you. IP: Logged |

Hello. I am guessing that this resembles the third mark you describe:
If so, that is the maker's mark of Los Ballesteros, a well-respected Mexican silver workshop in operation since about 1937. Their work is typically well made and heavy. It would be nice to see a picture of your bracelet if that is possible. This is the workshop's official website: www.ballesteros.net. IP: Logged |
