Does anyone know who used the makers mark letter A? I have a beautiful pendant that looks like a container of some sort. Long enough for a cigarette and the lid fits tight enough to hold powder or liquid. Also has "925". The lid has a chain to attach to container and a loop for a necklace. It is intricately designed with a swirl pattern. I was told it was from 1936- K. Steiffer? I cannot find any info on this. Please help!! Thanks! IP: Logged |

Literally thousands of makers have used the letter A over the last 300 years. A picture of the piece and of the mark would be a big help. IP: Logged |

Please post pictures of the item and its marks if possible. I am having a hard time even trying to visualize what this piece looks like. A couple of possibilities that come to mind are scent flask and needle case, but these are real stabs in the dark. Thanks. IP: Logged |
