I am sorry, but I do not know the maker of this item. Perhaps a picture would provide me with a lead. IP: Logged |

I do not have access to any of the books on native american silversmith marks. An image of the front may give us a better idea as to where to look for the information on the maker. Anyone can have a stamp made from a manufacturer of stamps. The stamp looks new and many of the new makers have not registered their marks or may never register them. We may never know the names of the makers of many stamped items. I do not recognize the mark on your necklace. I might suggest the library and see if you can find one of the several books that have been recently printed on marks of the Southwest Native American silversmiths. Fred IP: Logged |

Thank you for posting a very clear picture of the mark. Would it also be possible to post a picture of the front of the piece, and the entire back? These would help me suggest date and place of manufacture. Unfortunately, as it is now, Fred is correct--many such marks exist, probably countless thousands, and for most of them, there is little real hope of ever linking them to makers. IP: Logged |
