CAN SOMEBODY PLEASE CLARIFY SOMETHING FOR ME. IS A PIECE OF JEWELLRY STAMPED 927 A HALLMARK? IF SO CAN YOU TELL ME IF IT IS VERY NEW? AND ALSO FROM WHAT COUNTRY WOULD IT HAVE BEEN MADE? I CANNOT FIND ANY INFORMATION ABOUT THIS OUT.ANY IDEAS WELCOME. THANKS VERY MUCH DAZMIK IP: Logged |

By themselves, numbers reveal relatively little. The convention of using such a number to indicate silver content in parts per thousand began in the 19th century (to the best of my knowledge). However, laws and customs varied widely by country. We need much more information in order to date a piece. A picture of botht he bracelet and the marks would help. Tom IP: Logged |
