Can anybody help. I have been having a sort out of some jewelry, and have found a silver and marcasite brooch clip and on the back it is stamped 935 to the main part of the brooch and has DRGM (I think) stamped but on the clip part. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. IP: Logged |

935/1000 is the silvercontent. DRGM is German and means: Deutsches Reichs Gebrauchs Muster, something between a patent and a trademark. This you find normally on the needle or brooch clip. The manufacturer had to stamp this letters on his merchandise if he used this type of clip, needle etc. which was copyrighted by the inventor. Hope that answers your question [This message has been edited by sazikov2000 (edited 04-04-2005).] IP: Logged |
