I'd be really grateful if any experts would know the maker, city and date of the following hallmarks? I've had to sketch the marks as they were too small but the links are in the photo too. There seems to be a bit of patina on them so I'm hoping they're old although from the internet searching I've done and reading this forum they may be younger than 1980.
Many thanks IP: Logged |

Hi there, The zodiac type symbol is the import mark for Sheffield i.e. your piece was made abroad and then hallmarked in Sheffield. I believe the date to be 1994 or 1995. I don't know who the maker is. IP: Logged |

I am not hundred percent , but would think the makers mark is Links Of London, very well known for producing cuff links, chances are the were made outside UK and assayed with the import mark IP: Logged |

Thanks for resizing the pic Scott and to Scotia and John for their input. John's notes seem to right on the mark. When I went to the Links of London website I found a contemporary pair that look very similar. This also puts Scotia date in the right frame as the company only came into existence in 1990. I've emailed LoL and will advise, but well done to the SSF team. It's quite satisfying to discover their origin. Thanks. IP: Logged |
