I think posting a picture of the marks and the bracelet would be a good idea. IP: Logged |

Is the bracelet solid silver or plate? Are there any silver content markings like STERLING or numbers? I can't quite picture what your bracelet looks like, but I have seen several '50s & '60s Danish Modernist pieces made with rough amethysts set into silverplate with a rather rough-hewn appearance. The marks you describe sound as though they could be a Scandinavian maker's mark, but without seeing the bracelet and its marks, I can't provide any details with certainty. IP: Logged |

It's solid not plate and really heavy. There's nothing on it except for the sheilds and x marks on each of the links in between each of the amethysts. The original clasp is missing, but that dosn't help. All the amethysts are smooth, clear and very dark purple.Unless i get you a photo i understand it would be hard to tell me much.It is unusual and hard to describe.thanks IP: Logged |
