Hi, We saw the message about SBROS and we have a silver brooch with this stamped on it. We are trying to find out more about it. The brooch is two hearts entwined, decorated with flowers in a yellow and orange metal and good luck written across it. We don't know if the coloured metal is silver, gold or something else. On the back, it is stamped with an anchor, we think it's the one that signifies Birmingham. Also, there is a lion, standing up and heading to the left, like the lion passant. There is also a letter 'e', which we think represents 1904. We don't know if SBROS signifies Sydenham Bros, Smith Bros or Sheldon Bros as was suggested to the previous query. We can't find out anything more about it and were wondering if anyone could help. Regards, IP: Logged |
