Paul Lemieux Posts: 1792 Registered: Apr 2000	posted 02-05-2007 12:39 AM This is a Gorham gilt-silver buckle which is marked with the 1893 date mark. It is decorated with rosettes and arabesques in lovely champlevé enamel. It measures 3.5" x 2.25". In addition to the marks shown, there is a hand-scratched "VII" and a tiny stamped letter "C" (it is not the same "C" mark that is found on Hamburg and that line of hand wrought flatware, and I don't know what it means). The only mark that puzzles me is the little "C", which I will try to photograph today. IP: Logged
