This morning, I was reading in the WSJ about how (after 600+ years, I think) uncut (or "in the rough") diamonds are again in vogue. This got me to thinking about stone cutters, shapes, silver mounts, etc. Do we have any stone cutters at the SSF?

I not sure if there are other variations, here is what I was able to find on diamond cuts:

There are numerous other cuts for diamonds, including rose, briolette, princess, emerald, round brilliant, Asscher, and many others. A friend in the jewelry industry apparently saw a diamond marble at the jewelry trade show in Vegas.

De Beers introduced the "Talisman" line of jewelry a few years ago, which incorporates rough diamonds.
