Hello Paul! I have been searching the internet for an answer to a question but have not been successful. I hope maybe you can direct me to the proper source. I am trying to find out if there is any kind of a list that has the copyrighted designs of Paloma Picasso jewelry. Thank you in advance for any help you or any other members may be able to give. Enjoy the day! Jersey IP: Logged |

I just briefly looked through a few of my 'coffee table' style Tiffany books and was able to come up with a whole chapter on her detailing her history with Tiffany & Co. The book is titled "Tiffany Jewels" by John Loring. Although no detailed information is included, her ventures with Tiffany began in 1980. I think in order to find out any more, it looks like Tiffany's would be your best guess. Good luck...Sounds like an interesting quest so please keep us updated! ------------------ IP: Logged |

Hello carlaz! Thank you for responding to my query about Paloma Picasso jewelry designs. I too have gone thru many books & even listened to an very nice online video she had done hoping for some further info. Perhaps Paloma herself or someone may do a Catalogue Raisonne at some point, it would be most interesting. If I find out anything further I will certainly post it. Enjoy the Day Jersey IP: Logged |

To my understanding, Paloma Picasso is under s strict (and lucrative) contract with Tiffany & Co. I am also told by people in the jewelry trade that she in fact merely licenses her name to Tiffany and that she does not directly design anything. Her line has been hugely successful for Tiffany's, and they keep tight reins on their by-line designers. Does someone know anything different? IP: Logged |

FYI Although I'd still be interested in a list, I just wanted to let you all know I found someone in a local Tiffany store who was very helpful in telling me the name of one of her older designs for me that I have. Trust me that doesn't happen very often. They must have something since she took a picture of my piece & ran it through the computer & Voila! Jersey IP: Logged |
