Her married name was Lillian Foster Comfort and in 1959 she was living in Weston, Connecticut. She had a private studio and had achieved the status as Master Craftsman SACB This is a 2" sterling brooch with prong set jelly opals. The back shows construction and mark. The only piece of Foster jewelry I've seen is a pair of simple, Arts & Crafts (almost modernistic) cufflinks - oval with bezel set carnelian cabochons with a hammered Sterling frame. I didn't know Foster was in the Boston Society of Arts & Crafts. The cufflinks I saw were from a dealer in central MA. - rat IP: Logged
