Paul Lemieux Posts: 1792 Registered: Apr 2000	posted 03-10-2008 05:21 PM This is a hatpin (sans the pinstem) from about 1900. It is silverplate with a touch of enamel. It is marked DONOCO, but I couldn't find a reference to this company in the Rainwater jewelry book. Does anybody have any ideas? IP: Logged

There are several Donoco companies, one makes donut equipment, but nothing in costume jewelry. My understanding has always been that marks on silverplated items frequently refer to how they were sold not who made them. Will investigate further. IP: Logged
