[26-1371] Owing the book "Fabergé: Lost and Found" by A. Kenneth Snowman and reading all the interesting stories, I by very lucky circumstances could get one of the small eggs on the book cover. The story behind the egg: a woman got this egg as a present from her husband 30years ago but never liked it. Now the husband died and the first thing she did was to get rid of the egg. She saw several other eggs in my collection and we traded - a so called Red Cross egg (silver/enamel) for this platinum egg set with a brilliant diamond and three rose diamond bands. The loop is with small rose diamonds encrusted and has the KF plus WH punch. Normally Fabergé eggs are only signed by the smith and not by Fabergé. After the deal we were both very happy.... I enclose some photos in the hope that they are small enough - you can not see much but it is good for the guidelines! Regards
