Wanting to stick to 1930s to 1950s period. The ring has in its description - 'inside band stamped House of Sterling ". The photos of the ring are horrendous. I asked for photos of the marking, and they were worse. So I ask.. I know that everything has/is being reproduced. Maybe that I can't find anything on my internet search is good. I'm thinking maybe it was just a small company that didn't last long [?] IP: Logged

Gaspare Posts: 97 Registered: Jan 2004	posted 01-10-2011 12:59 AM Paul you could very well be right! ,so many of these companys back then made vet flags, pens, patchs,key chains etc. etc. And, most were not commercial jewelers / jewelry retailers. I guess being I've yet to find any bit of this company on the internet that it was a make some money on what's hot and run type firm.. Price is around [snip]. and its a big hunky ring.With the price of silver lately and It's got good quality enamel to the front so I'm probably going to take a chance on it..Thanks , G. IP: Logged
