[26-1769] I am hoping that someone will recognize this mark and be able to tell me what it means.... I have been having no luck in researching it. The '800' part I know, but the tiny '79' under it is what i need help with. It is on a very small enameled pin.

Hello, It's a try from this side but I don't know in which country this silver- and enameled item is made. If it is a ex- or import piece? A lot of guestions and perhaps if you can make a photo of the total silver item it gives more information and I hope some other jewelry collectors can recognize your pattern. In Holland there are silver stamps with numbers in combination with a letter(also on jewelry). These combinations can stand for the silversmith who made the piece.Perhaps there is to find information in a head library. Perhaps a jewelry shop can give you some information in the neighbourhood. But please try to send a better photo and I hope this information will help a little. I only can say enjoy the hobby with collecting silver and research. HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU ALL! IP: Logged |
