I recently received a necklace made of 9 graduaged "plates" which have pre columbian designs. Each "plate" is stamped with MS in a square and a 3 pronged crown either to the left or on top of the square. The center Plate also contains "AB" "900" and what appears to be a Signature. The signature is an M F M(?) The top cross of the F extends above the other two initials. The last letter is worn but I believe it is an M. Can anyone help me identify this mark and perhaps date my necklace? Thank you [This message has been edited by Rdino1 (edited 09-03-2004).] IP: Logged |

Any chance of photos of the piece and the marks? "Pre columbian designs" suggest somewhere from Mexico south to Peru. IP: Logged |
