The forums seem quiet .... I suspect many are away for vacation. Many people start collecting souvenirs when they are on vacation. For some this is when their silver collecting begins. Souvenir spoons are most often what is mentioned. Today I suspect souvenir spoons are too expensive as an entry to silver collecting and has been superseded by collectable charms. If you have collected silver vacation charms, seeing your charm photos would be fun

I had a silver charm bracelet as a girl. I preferred 3-d, representational charms, and my friends would bring them back for me from their trips too. My friend Marina brought me a mermaid from Greece; my friend Jessica brought me a little cowbell from Switzerland. I have it somewhere, but where? IP: Logged |

I don't have any vacation/travel charms from my trips...most charms today aren't as nicely made as they were 100 years ago. But I think this is a great idea for a topic...I'm going to create a separate thread for interesting charms. IP: Logged |
